In X Celsis

Leonardo Da Vinci Artwork InXcelsis is a fast cruiser / racer yacht. Designed by Jepsen and built by X Yachts of Denmark, she has been dry sailed from new and maintained to a high standard by the present owner / skipper, Peter Jones. (Yachtmaster Offshore) Passing one of the Solent Forts
A typical season will include 6 offshore races in the RORC Programme and the Round Isle of Wight race. The yacht has completed 5 Fastnet races with the present owner, finishing in the front half of the Class 1 fleet.

The 2008 season will include the RORC Easter Regatta, Solent starts for RORC offshore races, Round the Island Race and the Cherbourg race.

A number of crew spaces are available for people with some offshore experience wishing to extend this in competitive racing in the class 1 fleet. New crew must be prepared to qualify themselves on the RYA liferaft training programme. First Aid training and DSC Licence would be a valuable addition. The yacht carries two independent GPS navigation systems and VHF/DSC radio, call sign MQVJ2
